Karma Coop Toronto

Karma Co-op is a non-profit food store, owned co-operatively by the people who shop there - its members. Founded in 1972, Karma provides its members with wholesome, economical food. We have about 500 working members households and 389 non-working member households and 1 corporate.

The Food Issues Committee is responsible for ensuring that the values expressed in Karma’s product policy are reflected in the store. To do this, the Committee is in the process of developing an implementation guide, a decision making process that is fair to all, works for the benefit of the whole and enables us to remain a financially viable entity.
