Don't discount the power of online gaming to raise awareness and passion for activism. Darfur is Dying is a game that is disorienting, addictive and hopefully action inspiring:
The game is produced by students of the University of Southern California and supported by the Reebok Human Rights Foundation and MTV Networks On Campus Inc. and the International Crisis Group.
Gameplay: You are a refugee tasked to find water, food, and maintain health of a refugee camp. This is made more difficult by ongoing attacks by Janjaweed (Controversial term for armed forces that attack villages and camps, arguably supported by the Sudanese government - More) Simple controls (arrow keys on your keyboard and the mouse) make play intuitive for anyone who has played a computer game! Fair & Green: The game does a great way of integrating information into the play naturally. The game makes the player feel a little of the day-to-day struggle for survival.
